What is a PTFE Lined Ball Check Valve?
A PTFE Lined Ball Check Valve is a non-return valve that uses a floating ball to open and close the passage of fluid automatically.
During forward flow, the ball is lifted from its seat, allowing the medium to pass through easily, smoothly, and without obstruction.
When the flow stops or reverses, gravity or backpressure forces the ball back into its seat, creating a tight seal that prevents backflow.
The PTFE lining improves corrosion resistance, enabling the valve to handle aggressive chemicals safely without causing any body damage.
