The tooling assembly positions the mandrels in the center of the cast housing and keeps them there throughout the molding process. Each fitting or cast body has a consistent lining thickness and no residual stress as a result. The tight fit of the liner inside the cast housing achieves high vacuum ratings through the lining process.
